What’s your style?
As creative, storytelling photographers, we aim to artfully record and present the authentic story of your wedding day. We do that by unobtrusively capturing candid moments as they happen, without directing or intervening. This inconspicuous approach helps us capture the natural magic of your day, revealing the true essence and character of yourselves, your guests and your experience. We tend to blend in to the scene rather than bring attention to ourselves and our cameras. Our work can be described in many ways but we prefer to call it artistic wedding photojournalism with sense of fashion. When the time is right, we will also take a more active role in offering direction, making you shine brighter than ever by posing you in flattering, natural ways that don’t look or feel posed and contrived. During the family group photo and the creative portraits, we will guide you through everything. You can just be yourselves, and we will take care of the rest. The end results are timeless images that speak for themselves. Bold, bright, unique and most importantly real.
What separates you from the hundreds of other wedding photographers?
We focus our attention on creating unique, one of a kind stories for our clients. We want your images to be breathtaking and awe-inspiring. We are constantly working to create beautiful images for our clients, as well as provide them with the highest quality albums and prints that are available in the photographic industry. In addition to that, we believe that when hiring us, you are developing a relationship with us that will last for years. Our number one goal is to create extremely artistic images that you cannot get anywhere else, along with a story that when viewed, will make you feel an emotional connection to your imagery.
What does your coverage include?
We provide complete, fully comprehensive coverage, no limit on images taken, and no limit on locations, nothing to distract you from your perfect day, telling the complete story of your day in the most beautiful and creative way possible. Our optional Italian wedding albums are a wonderful way to complete our experience. Albums can only really be experienced in person.
When will we receive our images?
Our creative commitment to you extends well beyond your wedding day. It generally takes us about 4 to 8 weeks to artistically master your images. We will send you a sneak peek within a 1 to 2 weeks of your wedding.
How many photographs will we receive?
We generally don’t stop taking photos for the whole day. We don’t set a maximum limit and will take in excess of 2500 photographs, these are then edited down to usually between 800-1000 of the very best images of the day.
What albums do you supply?
We exclusively work with Album Epoca one of the very best Italian wedding album manufacturers in the world. All the albums I use are hand finished, have edge-to-edge printing, and open out flat to allow images to be spread right across two pages with no loss of the image in the center crease. A wide variety of sizes and covers are available, including leather and photo-cover. They really can only be appreciated in person.
Can we see the album design before it goes to print?
Yes, we will design your album by using your favorite chosen images and then send a PDF of the page layouts for your approval. You are also welcome to make changes and suggestions. Once the album is approved it is shipped within two weeks.
What is an engagement session?
Engagement sessions have everything to do with having fun. The purpose of an engagement session is to get all that awkwardness you feel when in front of a camera out of your system and start having fun. You will be the center of attention at your wedding and a camera taking photos of you throughout the day can be unnerving for some. Getting the jitters out before your wedding just guarantees you’ll be more comfortable during your wedding. We really feel that the session is in the best interest of everyone involved – it’s a great way to get to know each other behind and in front of the camera. It’s like a warm up for your wedding day. Not only that, the engagement session really gives the opportunity to push the creative boundaries with no time restraints.
Working With You
A great portrait is a collaboration between photographer and subject. When both are working together the result is far more than what comes from direction alone. Understanding my clients helps me create images that truly reflect their personalities and wedding day. To help achieve this goal, I provide a series of questions to couples.
