Vintage Hotels

The Vintage Hotels’ properties are world-class wedding venues and I’m very pleased to have a strong relationship with this wonderful corporation. The many Niagara weddings I’ve photographed at The Pillar and Post, Queen’s Landing and Prince of Wales have been memorable, elegant events that I’m proud to have in my portfolio. Each hotel offers unique, distinctive locations that enable me to create beautiful images which completely capture the special essence of each bride and groom – framed by the unmatched aesthetic qualities offered by Niagara on the Lake and Vintage Hotels.

Joseph Vetrone
The ever changing dynamics of weddings draw me in. Weddings are all about the unexpected situation, genuine affection and people having a great time. My couples give me an inside view of their day and I am there to take great pictures of them. – Joseph Vetrone

Jerry Zolner
In the world of photography, it is the mixture of light and dark, colour and form, energy and composition, technique and soul that make a photograph sing. Jerry Zolner understands this and his work proves it. His extensive experience within the fashion industry adds a dynamic aesthetic to his wedding photography.

Niagara has no shortage of charming and interesting engagement photo locations and I’m always excited to see how each couple’s unique personalities work with the surrounding space and lighting. I make a strong effort to create lasting, memorable images during these opportunities, knowing that the resulting photos representthe birth of a special, enduring relationship. There’s no doubt in my mind that an engagement photo is just as important as a wedding photo.

I recently had the pleasure of working with 5 local couples and that previously mentioned union of space and personality gave me something truly special to capture. I’m quite proud of the images I produced for Nora & Cory, Fran & Kyle, Andrea & Joe, Jaime & Lou and Paul & Rachel.

Locations: Niagara on the Lake, Niagara Falls, Queenston.

Jaime and Lou – Ancaster Mill Wedding

Situated beside a waterfall on the banks of a stream, the historic and scenic Ancaster Mill was a wonderful location for Jaime and Lou’s wedding. After nearly 20 years of wedding photography, this was surprisingly the first opportunity I’ve had to work here and I certainly hope I’ll be back soon. This is an amazing venue. The architecture and natural outdoor spaces were completely inspiring and I couldn’t be happier with the resulting images.

Congratulations Jaime and Lou – and thanks for giving me such a wonderful location to work with.

Fran and Kyle

Congratulations to Fran and Kyle. A great day with wonderful images captured at Amici’s Banquet Centre and the Port Dalhousie carousel. There’s nothing like a vintage carousel to inject even more joy and fun into a wedding.

Grace and Chris

Congratulations to Grace and Chris. This day was a wonderful opportunity to utilize our lighting expertise, particularly within some elegant and stylish indoor spaces. We couldn’t be happier with the results. Working as a team gives us the flexibility to quickly compose images from moments that might otherwise slip away. Thanks to a special couple who provided us with some beautiful locations.

Felicia & Giacamo | Niagara on the Lake Engagement Photos

Had an absolutely fantastic session with the newly engaged Felicia & Giacamo. The energy and spirit they brought to the day was infectious and inspiring. Being non-locals, they trusted me for location selection and it all transpired perfectly. Capitalizing on the natural light and colours, we captured moments that truly reflect their comfortable and relaxed connection. They were fun to work with and it shows. I thank them for a great session.

Ashley and Shelby | Niagara Wedding

I couldn’t be happier for Ashley and Shelby, the lovely, recently married couple who proved to be a joy to work with. From the memorable ceremony at St. Mark’s Church in Niagara on the Lake, to the awesome reception at John Michael’s Banquet and Conference Centre, the day was perfect and the images reflect that. Worth noting – the wonderful artistry of Maria Delduca and the amazing sounds of Sandy Vine.

Rene and David | Niagara Wedding

Kind words from a lovely couple:

We are so blessed that Joseph captured the most important day of our lives. He has unbelievable talent and a true passion for his work. Joseph put his whole heart into each moment on our wedding day. Our photos are stunning and we are so proud to show them off. We can’t thank you enough for making our wedding day even more special!

Jessica and Martin | Piper’s Heath Wedding

Jessica & Martin had a golf course wedding/reception, but did not want the images to reflect the golf theme. We found some amazing locations & light in the nearby forest. It made for some dramatic & fashion inspired images.

Concept Photo Session with The Flower House

A good photograph is one that touches the heart and leaves the viewer a changed person for having seen it. Here we try to create fashion photography with a minimal yet graceful style. Our subjects — placed on plain backdrop and shot full frame — are isolated from outside aesthetics; alone they create their own visual language.

Thank you to all our partners in this effort.
